Every election year, the Maryland Catholic Conference surveys the state’s candidates for Governor and General Assembly about their positions regarding issues of interest to Catholics. The responses of the Democratic and Republican primary candidates are below. The candidates were asked to either “Agree” or “Disagree” with a list of issue statements.

The school year is completing...so our Backpack program will end mid-June....and won’t start up until September. No need to focus on “children’s food” for backpacks until then. The St. Christopher’s Food Bank is always in need of canned soups, chili, pork and beans, canned corn and canned fruit of various kinds. “..the body does not consist of one member but of many...Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it..” (1 Cor 12: 14, 27)
