The excitement of the day often loses the reason of Christmas...Christ gave himself to us as a gift!!  You too should provide gifts to the poor...remember the Poor Box in the rear of the Church Vestibule. Do you remember Mary’s response when told of her coming motherhood? “Here am I, the servant of the Lord; let it be with me according to your word.” (Luke 1:38)  So too, we should not give up an opportunity to be His servant here on earth.
