Haven Ministries Emergency monthly Food Pantry now at 2 locations: Safe Harbor Presbyterian Church, Stevensville & Centreville UMC in Centreville. Do you have an hour or two to teach a craft or skill or help with computer skills? These services are open to the public, if you know anyone that could benefit from services. Winter Coat Collection - Haven Ministries is collecting kids winter coats, hats, gloves, scarves, mittens, etc for Make A Difference Day in Nov. The winter items can be gently used or new. NO Adult things please. We will collect and store items throughout the summer until the event. Drop off at Our Daily Thread Thrift Store Attend a Fundraising event: Buy a "HAMILTON" raffle ticket - Win 2 tickets, Box seats: L:3-7, 3-8 to see Hamilton at the Kennedy center Aug. 25th at 7:30 with a Parking Pass (Value $1425!) All proceeds go to HM. 2nd Annual Golf Tournament - Friday Sept. 21st at Prospect Bay - one of our biggest fundraisers as we are not having Run4Shelter this year. Do you know anyone who would be willing to be a Hole Sponsor, donate door prizes or who would like to golf in the tournament? We really need your support!!!! Networking for a Cause - Happy Hour Networking Event at Hemingway's every 2nd Tuesday of the month from 5 to 7 pm. $10 cover charge goes directly to HM. Great way to make connections with other businesses while making a Difference and bringing HOPE to our neighbors in need. Please continue to pray that we find a place where we can establish a year round shelter for our neighbors that need temporary housing assistance, etc.... As I write this, it is hard to believe it has been almost a year since that tornado devastated our Community. Many people are STILL suffering the financial setbacks from that storm.
