The St. Christopher’s Food Bank will offer food to anyone who enters the OUTREACH Office. There are about 20,000 residents of Kent Island....of those about 14% have an income below the poverty level....but the economy is strong!!?? It turns out that even those who have low income jobs are actually taking home less....and, according to a recent Washington Post area-wide survey, “food insecurity was the most common challenge during 2017”. Think of that when you shop this next week...only one extra can or box that you can put into the box on the right as you enter the Church Hall (near the bathrooms). “The fruit of the Spirit is.....generosity..” (Galatians 5:22)
