According to Webster (online...wonder where my paper dictionary is...) Metanoia is an Ancient Greek word meaning "a transformative change of heart; especially : a spiritual conversion”. I have never used it in a sentence, but I have heard it and read it. Fr Paul talked Sunday about the Apostles being called by Jesus Christ to “follow Me”...and they did!! Certainly individuals can change their lives dramatically, but most of us don’t. We CAN alter our every day events A LITTLE. Like when you quickly leave Church and pass by the poor box without dropping a few coins in (or even a dollar!) In doing so you cannot help but think of Christ and His love of those in need...a small “spiritual conversion”...try it!!
